I was editorial director for Refinery29. While I was there, we expanded the site to cover politics and culture, created the video department, and launched the TransAmerica, Take Back the Beach, and State of Our Union (above) franchises. I oversaw content across media—video, newsletters, visual, social, and written—and led a team of sixty staffers as well as freelancer contributors. I also helped develop sponsorship and partner campaigns, including “Altar,” a one-off zine about wedding fashion produced for the New York Post.

During my tenure, Refinery29 was nominated for a National Magazine Award for the first time, in the general excellence category.
