I was honored to produce the Criterion Collection edition of Menace II Society.

The package included a digitally restored copy of the film, audio commentary from directors Albert and Allen Hughes, an interview with them, a mini-feature about the making of the film, an incredible essay by Craig D. Lindsey, and more. The Hughes brothers were late to the record because they had stopped to buy cars, and then they blew us away with their depth of knowledge and the thinking that had gone into every frame. A monumental piece of filmmaking.

For the video intro, we drove out to the desert and shot up an old car door. The only time I have ever held a gun in my hand, absolutely terrifying.
